Interim, Inc. is Building Pathways Home for Adults Living with Mental Illness
Introducing the future Marina Kai Apartments
A new affordable housing project for low-income persons who are homeless, or at-risk of homelessness, and living with a psychiatric disability
Interim is now in the pre-development phase of a new permanent supportive housing project called Marina Kai Apartments. The project will house very low-income persons, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who have psychiatric disabilities.
Interim plans to demolish a two-story building, containing four two-bedroom apartment units, to construct a new three-story apartment building consisting of 23 studio apartments and one one-bedroom resident manager unit. Please HELP US build more PATHWAYS HOME FOR THE HOMELESS!

Meet Merideth
Merideth was enrolled into Interim’s MCHOME homeless outreach program. At the time, she was homeless and living in her car. With support from Sun Rose Housing, she now lives independently in her own apartment.
“I struggled with the stigmas of mental health for a very long time. The pain and anguish were, at times, too much to bear. My mental illness made me homeless for nine months, and I had to face incredible struggles and obstacles. Then, I received the call to move into Interim housing, a gift that changed my world forever. For the first time in my life, I found a sense of belonging and learned how to live life to the fullest. The people at Sun Rose have inspired me to build a better life for myself and give back to others.”
