Wellness Navigators CASRA Conference participation reflects Interim’s dedication to peer leadership and professional growth.
CASRA, the California Association of Social Rehabilitation Agencies, held its annual conference on May 23rd in Sacramento, its first in-person event since 2019. Interim sent 4 Wellness Navigators: Antonio Garibaldi (MCHOME). Emily Cisneros (Wellness Services-Primary Care Integration), Lizeth Arreola (Assertive Community Treatment) and Cristela Chavez (Wellness Services-Transportation Coaching). The theme of the conference was “Maintaining the Vision of Recovery in Changing Times: Focusing on building the foundation of what got us into this work”.
The conference’s featured presenter, Bruce Anderson, helped pioneer multiple program models and practices in the field of social-rehabilitation throughout his career. Our Wellness Navigators returned from the conference energized and eager to apply their new learnings, praising it as a fun and informative event.
