The ladies of Interfaith Outreach of Carmel’s Joining Hands Benefit Shop
Interim honored Maureen and Wayne Lavengood at the annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon. Maureen and Wayne, both clinical social workers, are founding Board members of the agency, and have provided time, expertise and financial support to the agency for the past 47 years. Maureen also oversees our MSW Interns via the CSUMB MSW program. Interim also nominated Interfaith Outreach of Carmel’s Joining Hands Benefit Shop for this year’s Outstanding Philanthropic Organization and they were selected for an award! Since 2011, Interfaith Outreach has supported multiple Interim projects, and most recently provided a $25,000 grant to Sun Rose Apartments.
