Interim Thanks Our Move for Mental Health Sponsors, Donors, and Participants!

Barbara Mitchell, former/retired Executive Director of Interim, Inc., and some of her wondrous Wellness Walkers having a celebratory lunch. The team logged an impressive 1003 miles of swimming and walking miles in October, and raised $1319!

We are proud to report that Move for Mental Health raised $27,299 in sponsorships and donations to support Interim! Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, and participated in this event. Participants also shared their passion and stories through their personal campaign appeals. We want everyone to know we deeply appreciate the enthusiasm that was brought to this event.

Physical activity is one of the most effective ways to improve mental health. It releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects. It also reduces stress, improves sleep, and increases self-esteem.

That’s why we promote physical activity as a tool, among many, to improve the physical and mental health of residents throughout our programs. We offer a variety of classes and activities, as well as support to help residents set and achieve their personal goals. We also work with local businesses and organizations to provide residents with opportunities to be active in their community.
