Interim is now certified as an approved Blue Zones participating organization though our administrative offices. We are excited to partner with the Monterey County Blue Zones Project to encourage practices that contribute to a healthy work environment. Kora Saylor, Interim’s Health and Safety Officer, explained that
“The health of Interim’s employees is paramount to fulfilling our mission and end goals within the community. Blue Zones presents health ideals that are easy to initiate and integrate into our busy lives, putting healthy options and concepts at the forefront for our staff. We believe that encouraging our staff to live healthy lifestyles will also help lead our clients toward making healthier lifestyle choices.”
Interim places an emphasis on health-conscious workplace practices that extend to emotional, mental and physical well-being. Working with Blue Zones helps expand emphasis on the physical health aspect and how it ties into all the other aspects that contribute to ‘living longer, living better’, one of their taglines.
