A Holiday Message from the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

As we bid farewell to 2023 and eagerly embrace the promise of 2024, we at Interim, Inc., take this opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments of the past year and express our unwavering commitment to supporting individuals living with mental illness in our community.

This past year marked a significant milestone for Interim, Inc., as we unveiled Sun Rose Apartments, our brand-new 17-bed transitional and permanent housing development in Salinas, California serving unhoused individuals living with mental illness, and offering them the stability and support they need to thrive.

In addition to this achievement, we are now serving individuals with commercial insurance in five of our programs. This expansion allows us to reach a broader segment of the community and provide much-needed support to those who were previously unable to access our services. We continue to expand our peer-based support services. Many specialized peer support positions have been created in recent years, expanding employment opportunities for peers within our programs. Most recently, three Interim staff became certified as Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists, the first in Monterey County. Interim now has six certified staff who are employees.

As we look ahead to 2024, we are filled with optimism and determination. We remain committed to providing supportive housing and mental health services to individuals living with mental illness, empowering them to reach their full potential.

We recognize that the journey to recovery is not always easy, and we are here to offer a helping hand every step of the way. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals living with mental illness can feel empowered and hopeful for the future.

On behalf of Interim, Inc., I extend our deepest gratitude to our partners, supporters, and community members for their inspiring belief in our mission.

As we embark on a new year, let us continue to work together to foster a more inclusive and supportive community for all. With dedication and compassion, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by mental illness.

Wishing you a New Year filled with hope, resilience, health, and the unwavering belief in the power of human potential.

Sincerely,

Rhiyan Quiton, PsyD
