And just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month, Interim, Inc. a local leader in pioneering housing, treatment and service programs for people with mental illnesses, is expanding two successful treatment programs to meet critical community needs.
The first is the innovative (and desperately needed) Bridge House transitional residential treatment facility, serving adults with mental illness and substance use disorder (dual diagnosis), is getting a new home in Marina. A grand opening is set for 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, May 11, at 601 Bayonet Circle in Marina. A light lunch and building tours will be available following the ceremony.
And second, Interim is adding a second crisis residential treatment program in Monterey at the old Bridge House facility. This program helps people recover from a mental health crisis in a residential home-like environment. The new program will be called Manzanita Monterey. A grand opening will be held in June. More information will be released once we are able to set a final date!
