Family Outreach
The Family Outreach Program is a collaboration between the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Monterey County (NAMI- MC) and Interim, Inc.
A Family Outreach Coordinator provides information, referral and support to families who have a member with psychiatric disabilities. The Coordinator also assists in planning NAMI meetings and programs, and oversees the NAMI Family to Family Education Program. |
 |

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a free, 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses.
The Family-to-Family Education course will teach you how to more effectively work with the loved one with mental illness, and how to access and leverage resources in the community.
View the current Family-to-Family course schedule for California.
Note: Courses in Spanish also available. Contact Heather Deming at NAMI - Monterey County for more information.
