Family Support (NAMI)
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a non-profit, grassroots, charitable, volunteer, self-help, support and advocacy organization for families and friends of people with severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or anxiety disorders.
NAMI-Monterey County and Interim collaborate to provide Family Outreach and Support programs throughout Monterey County. They also offer Family-to-Family classes that provide support and skills training for those living with family members who have a psychiatric disability. NAMI Monterey County holds monthly meetings, often with guest speakers, at various locations in our area. For more information, please call 831.375.NAMI (6264).
